History of Charles Francis Richter
Charles Francis Richter was born in the United States on April 26, 1900. He was an earthquake scientist and physicist. He collaborated with Reno Gutenberg in 1935 to discover the Richter scale. During the discovery of Richter Scale, he was working as a scientist in the California Institute of Technology. The Moment Magnitude Scale was invented in 1979 based on his inventive thriller scale. The famous inventor died on September 30, 1985.
